Pastor Randy Brown became pastor of First Baptist Church on June 1, 2008. He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Montesano, he served as pastor of two churches in Louisiana. He and his family also served as missionaries in
South Asia.
Randy's wife and partner in ministry is Kerri. Kerri is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and currently serves as the church's worship leader and kids' Sunday School teacher. The Brown's have two sons: Lucas, 10, and Joshua, 8.
First Baptist Church is affiliated with the Olympic Baptist Association, a network of Southern Baptist Churches in the Olympic Peninsula; with the Northwest Baptist Convention, consisting of Southern Baptist churches in Oregon, Washington, and northern Idaho; and with the Southern Baptist Convention.
